Black Pepper Shiraz

I like powerful and spicy flavour of Shiraz (also known as Syrah), and not everyone can produce good Shiraz.

SYDNEY - Australian scientists say they have identified the substance that gives some red wines a distinctive peppery aroma, a discovery that could have major implications for the multi-billion dollar wine industry.

Sarawak Pepper (Sarawak is my hometown, located on Borneo Island) is Malaysia most renown pepper, and Sarawak itself ranks as the world fourth leading producers of pepper. I guess that’s why I love Shiraz. But the thing is, I quit drinking (not in the sense of wine, just beers and pure shots, not wine), and the last sip of my Shiraz+Cabernet Sauvignon, was drank by my laptop (the fact is my friend spilled the wine on my laptop, and I accidentally melted my keyboard as well).

Australia produces nice wines.
