An Hour Exercise A Day, Keep The Obesity With You

Exercise gives your children health benefits, but might not be able to tackle obesity.

Health experts often encourage children to exercise an hour a day to avoid childhood obesity.  However a research published in latest issue of the journal “Archives of Diseases in Childhood” showed that an hour exercise daily did not have positive effect on weight control over time.  The study was based on 212 children in Plymouth born in 1995 and 1996 for four years.  However those who exercise in this study have better blood pressure, cholesterol, triglycerides and insulin resistance.  It is suggested that the children’s diets should be changed to improve children’s health and weight.  Exercise should not be neglected while conducting diet control.
