The Invisible Gorilla is an excellent book that brings the everyday illusions that is pervasive yet overlooked and denied by our very intuition and beliefs to the surface. With great examples and strong evidence, the authors marvels and leave us with no option but to accept (despite our denials) that everyday illusions make us believe that we are more aware, capable and knowledgeable than we really are. Although the authors explicitly state that there are no cure for such illusions, however the book surely induce us to be more aware of everyday illusions and hence make us less prone to everyday gimmicks; missed opportunities; and potentially dangerous hazards that are associated with everyday illusions in our life. In addition these insights into everyday illusions made easy to understand is great to share with friends and family.
