This piece of article should be given to all the science students and scientists.  Carrie Iwema from Bitesize Bio wrote 18 ways to improve PubMed search results, and I found couple of them are really helpful.

  1. Boolean Operators
  2. Truncation
  3. Single Citation Matcher
  4. Reviews Tab
  5. MeSH Database
  6. Journals Database
  7. Limits
  8. Preview/Index
  9. History
  10. Clipboard
  11. Details
  12. Display
  13. Sort By
  14. Send To
  15. Related Articles
  16. Links to other NCBI resources
  17. My NCBI
  18. Tutorials

I’m in my final year now.  I still found that there are many people, who are doing final year like me, don’t know how to look for journal articles and do a proper citing and referencing.  I wonder what did they learn throughout their univeristy life.
