What is Eppendorf Tube?

Eppendorf tubes are microcentrifuge tubes (a.k.a. microfuge tubes) are small little cute plastic containers with conical bottoms with a cap on the top.  They are usually used for storage or centrifuge for small amount of liquid.   Many chemists and biologists used them in the lab.  These tubes are cold tolerance (as low as -80 °C to liquid nitrogen temperatures) or tolerant with organic solvents like chloroform.  They are called Eppendorf tubes because Eppendoft is a major manufacturer of microcentrifuge tubes.

Above is a medium American Apparel pale blue tee shirt.  Honestly, that Eppendorf tube doesn’t look like tube to many people.  It looks more like a condom with an attached cap on top.

What’s your 2009 Valentine’s Day idea?

While I am aimlessly looking at t-shirts online (I just love to see cool t-shirt designs), I came across this “Run, Scientists, Run!” tee from Threadless T-shirts.

The t-shirt features a gigantic lab rat with syringes on it chasing after bald and weird hairstyles scientists.  Currently the only size left for this t-shirt is XS, and it is $15 only.  Too bad, it’s not my size.

Are you getting nervous when you see someone that is attractive to you?  This nerve cells t-shirt won’t solve your problem.

I like the design of this 100% long sleeved T-shirt very much.  There is a patch of yellow and red nerve cell, and a writing of “sensational” at the bottom left on the back.

However the tee is expensive, it costs £19.00 each.  The size is UK size and there are t-shirts for both men and women.

I can’t afford to buy any of the t-shirts I found online, but there is no harm just by looking at them.  Funny t-shirts cheer my day up, and they gives me idea.

Although this t-shirt is simple as there are only words, it still makes me laugh the crap out of my ass.
